Privacy month event held on 21th January 2017 at Gokhale Education Societys  R.H Sapat college of Engineering management studies and Research . The motive of event was to make engineering students aware about online privacy and why one should be careful about it. As being engineer they knew many things and had an interactive session.

First of all we introduced them towards Mozilla (Nonprofit organization  that does technical social work) and why we are supporting to open source. Kamlesh shared his thoughts on open souce and experience of being a passionate mozillian.

Ronit came up with what is tracking and importance of privacy.He explained Lightbeam addon and how to use it.he also explain  various tools for keep data secure.


Say no to tracking.

Lightbeam is a browser add on that allows you block third party sites from tracking you.

Then Ronit Jadhav explianed privacy tips with students including private browsing, Brave browser, privacy badger, strong passwords, disposable mails, https and many more.

As the the number of womens are greater to empower them all Viswa have gave a introuction to Womoz community of mozilla. in an intractive session with girls and listners she introduced the womoz . SHE TOLD HOW GIRLS CAN CONTRIBUTE TO MOZILLA AND CREATE THERE OWN IDENTITY.

 LOCALIZATION :- 
With great intraction with  crowd Mohini explain how peoples can contribute to mozilla even if they dont have great coding and programming skill.
she makes the session fully intractive by asking some marathi meanings of english words.
  

 

At last Vishal introduced them towards contribution areasin mozilla and also gives some great security tips and told about  hidden features of mozilla browser.

We wrapped up the event with few selfies with crowd.
